Hannity Freaks on McCain-Edwards Sex Link
Sean Hannity lost control of himself and his show on Tuesday night,
after co-host Alan Colmes compared John Edwards' infidelity to John
McCain's affair. Usually, the two hosts of "Hannity & Colmes" take
turns questioning guests and carefully avoid debating each other, but
Hannity made a rare departure
to repeatedly yell that McCain's affair was somehow acceptable because
it occurred after he was tortured for five and a half years in Vietnam.

We're trying to find out a bit more about the Bikini Beauty Pageant at the Buffalo Chip,
where John McCain showed up and offered up wife Cindy as a contestant.
ESPN says the event is topless and "occasionally bottomless". Actually their description is worth quoting in full ...
Buffalo Chip has a reputation for that sort of thing. It
holds a Miss Buffalo Chip contest every night, which is essentially a
topless beauty pageant. And occasionally bottomless, too. During

candidate the media is "in love" with is that there's no real evidence
that anyone benefits when a reporter or a talking head fawns all over
an electoral contender. More often than not, you just get a bunch of
water-muddying ads, such as the ones that seem to blame Barack Obama
for being a press darling despite having something of an aloof, and
often prickly, relationship with them.
But it doesn't take affection, or leg-tingles, to do what Andrea

Charlie Black, senior advisor to John McCain, has caused an uproar in political circles by claiming that another terrorist attack on US soil "would be a big advantage" for McCain.
For those who've followed Black's career, this latest "gaffe" should hardly be surprising. Black has a long history of rough-and-tumble politics, on behalf of some of the most controversial figures in this country and abroad.
Black was a protege of the late GOP operative Lee Atwater, who coldly implement

In his eternal quest for the Republican presidential nomination, the supposed maverick John McCain has repeatedly reversed long-held positions and compromised purportedly core principles. From the Bush tax cuts, the religious right and immigration reform to overturning Roe v. Wade, proclaiming Samuel Alito a model Supreme Court Justice and bashing France (just to name a few), McCain changed sides as changing political conditions dictated.
But over the past two weeks, M
Gas prices are hitting all-time highs. Our country is in the midst of a recession thanks in part to our crippling dependence on oil, so what's John McCain's plan? Will he hold the corporate leaders of the energy industry accountable when he addresses them today in Houston? Probably not, considering they are some of his biggest fund-raisers.
The Center for Responsive Politics finds that McCain has accepted over $1 million from the oil and gas industry. Many of McCain's top advisers have lobbied for big oil
Yesterday, John McCain cancelled his attendance at a fundraiser with Clayton Williams, who gave the following advice to rape victims: "As long as it's inevitable, you might as well lie back and enjoy it."
McCain's campaign cited that remark as the reason for his cancellation.
But it turns out that Williams had already raised $300,000 for McCain -- and now McCain says he is keeping it all.
What he should do is take that $300,000 and donate it to a violence against women crisis and prevention center.
